They oversee the consulting team on our consulting engagements and also work with clients to help ensure project satisfaction and our commitment to high quality deliverables. The Executive Team also defines our long-term and short-term strategy and executes on key strategic priorities.

  • Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for Collaboration Partners’ executive team members, consulting services, expansion plans, and execution of the Collaboration Partners’ mission. She or he will initially develop deep knowledge of the organization inclusive of core programs, operations, and business plans.

    Time Commitment: ~ 10 hours per month

    Tasks / Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning:

    • Lead the annual the strategic business planning process for the organization with the support of the Board of Directors and Executive Team.

    • As part of onboarding responsibilities, a short term strategic plan is to be developed and presented within the first three months of assuming position

    Leadership & Management:

    • Ensure the successful execution of pro-bono consulting services, business development and partnerships, fundraising, and communications.

    • Lead, coach, develop, and retain Collaboration Partners executive team. Determine yearly goals for each executive team members and evaluate achievements at the end of the year review.

    • Develop and maintain a succession plan for key roles/functions within leadership team.

    • Engage and energize Collaboration Partners consulting volunteers and alumni, executive team, board members, partnering organizations, and funders.

    • For quarterly board meetings, ensure reporting of CP internal operations and consulting projects and any other required updates on strategic items.

    • Ensure effective systems to track strategic plan progress, and regularly evaluate consulting program components, so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, partner organizations and other constituents.

    Fundraising and Strategic Partnerships:

    • Responsible for short-term and long-term fundraising objectives for Collaboration Partners with support from the Board of Directors.

    • Use external presence and relationships to garner new opportunities, including attracting top talent for consulting volunteers and adequate clients for consulting projects.

    Expectations / Qualifications:

    • Masters’ degree, with preference for MBA

    • Minimum three to five (3 to 5) years of professional experience, preferably in management consulting, corporate strategy, nonprofit management or similar roles

    • Strong preference for hands-on experience in strategy development and strategic planning and execution

    • Proven management experience in leading team of direct reports; excellence in organizational management with ability to coach and develop high-performance teams

    • Prior fundraising experience and ability to engage potential donors preferred

    • Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude along with a willingness to assist the rest of the Executive Team on various operational matters

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Excellent time and resource management skills

    • Enjoys relationship management and prospecting

    Vice-President, Client & Volunteer Recruitment – Overview

    The Vice-President, Client & Volunteer Recruitment is responsible for defining our overall recruitment strategy and ensuring that we hit our short and long term growth objectives. In this position, you will oversee a team of volunteers responsible for client and volunteer recruitment. You will also work closely with the Vice-President, Consulting Operations and Director, Impact & Reporting to successfully execute and measure consulting project outcomes post-engagement and filter back learnings into future consulting rounds. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for external partnership management with other professional organizations that would assist Collaboration Partners in its client or volunteer recruitment objectives.

    Responsibilities

    Lead development of client recruitment strategy, including management of active pipeline of prospect clients for the year

    Lead strategic projects aimed at improving volunteer experience and retention

    Prospect and manage external partnerships with other organizations with goal of future attracting clients and volunteers that fit our target profile

    Assist Director, Client Relations in recruitment of potential clients, and application evaluation

    Assist Director, Talent & Culture in recruitment of leadership roles for Executive Team and Engagement Managers for consulting teams

    Work collaboratively with VP, Consulting Operations to ensure adequate client hand-off and adequate volunteer onboarding for consulting projects. As well as, actioning feedback for improvement areas post conclusion of consulting cycles

    Work collaboratively with Director, Impact & Reporting to showcase our impact to internal and external stakeholders (including reports, internal communications, etc)

    Manage high-talent consulting volunteers and match profiles to open roles in both consulting and executive teams

    Be instrumental in fostering a community across volunteer teams and executive teams that meets our organization’s values

    Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills

    Director, Client Recruitment – Overview

    The Director, Client Recruitment is responsible our client recruitment strategy and ensuring that we achieve our short and long term growth objectives. This role works closely with the Vice-President, Client & Volunteer Recruitment to successfully recruit new clients and manage existing client relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead development of client recruitment strategy, including management of active pipeline of prospect clients for the year

    Director, Consulting Operations – Overview

    The Director, Consulting Operations ensures the successful end-to-end delivery of our pro-bono consulting projects. You will be a key contributor to delivering our top-quality services and ensuring a positive experience for all of our consulting team volunteers.

    Responsibilities

    Work with the Vice President, Consulting Operations to scope and prepare new project engagements, including setting up initial client touchpoints and drafting Statements of Work (SoW)

    Work with the Director, Talent & Culture to staff volunteer teams for new project engagements and ensure that all consulting teams are balanced in terms of skillsets and backgrounds to successfully deliver on our consulting engagements

    Act as the primary contact for our volunteer Engagement Manager and Consultants throughout the execution of project engagements and assist in creating work-plans, ensuring quality of deliverables, attending final mid-project and end of project presentations to the client

    Responsible for all client relationship management to ensure a positive experience for our non-profit clients, collecting client feedback for mid-point, end of project and after project follow up within 6 months

    Serve as the escalation point for the clients, ensuring that any client concerns, issues or delays are brought up to the Collaboration Partners Executive Team and Board of Directors

    Serve as the escalation point for Consultants and Engagement Managers in the event any unexpected issues arise within the consulting team

    Responsible to collect and upload all final deliverables to our knowledge database. Serve as point of contact for consulting team, guiding them to helpful resources

    Responsible for creation of case studies for each project completed ensuring that client results and satisfaction are highlighted

  • We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join our team.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment filled and want to contribute to marketing campaigns raising brand awareness and engaging with our community through social media platforms and are passionate about giving back to the community, then this role is for you!

    We are looking a professional with at least two years of work experience in a marketing or marketing support role. Non-profit volunteering involvement is beneficial but not required. We welcome individuals seeking to broaden and supplement their work experience with not-for-profit exposure.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the marketing team with content planning, management and execution across all channels (email, webs, and social, etc.)

    • Own the content calendar and strategy for Collaboration Partners for internal and external communications

    • Manage earned and owned social media strategy including content planning, content calendar, etc. Write copy for organizational communication (internal and external audiences) and responsible for posting on social media platforms (LinkedIn and Facebook)

    • Act as the liaison with internal teams for content reviews and approvals Responsible for updating & the maintenance of website copy based on business needs

    Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills

    • 2+ years of marketing experience in copywriting, digital marketing and/or marketing project management

    • Undergraduate degree or diploma, with focus on Marketing would be an asset

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Knowledge of core digital marketing channels (social, email and web)

    • Experience in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns

    • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with other teams

    • Experience in developing content strategies and content calendars

  • We currently are looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join our team.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking with full ownership focused on a good cause, then this role is for you! We are seeking a highly creative Digital and Graphic Designer with a passion for web, design and digital media to create designs for Collaboration Partners. We need someone who lives and breathes web and design, has a keen eye for detail, enjoys working in different mediums and formats, and loves working as part of a collaborative team.

    Responsibilities

    • Own creation and marketing designs including ownership over the asset development process

    • Create, update and maintain marketing-related materials and establish and manage image libraries

    • Support with any design needs for updates on Collaboration Partners website

    • Analyze and improve our reach by continuously asking if something additional can be done to improve positioning, performance of channels / assets (email, social, web, etc.)

    • Contribute to the organizational marketing strategy and tactics by creating design for digital use (email, social media posts on LinkedIn and Facebook, presentation graphics etc.)

    • Ensure all visual content follows Collaboration Partners’ brand voice and identity

    Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills

    • 2+ years in a digital / graphic design role

    • Undergraduate Degree/Diploma with graphic design focus will be an asset

    • Experience working for an agency would be an asset, but not required

    • Proficiency in the Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, InViso, Canva or similar

    • Conceptual and design skills within the Squarespace environment (basic coding skills an asset)

    • Knowledge in design standards for digital media use

    • Knowledge of web design best practices, including page optimization and responsive design

    • Ability to create and manage designs from concept through production and delivery

    • Energetic, motivated, positive attitude
