EXECUTIVE TEAM


DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

 The Director of Communications will be responsible for executing the strategic marketing plan and work on delivering marketing and communications materials to be used by Collaboration Partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine adequate channels to engage clients and potential volunteers (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, CP website, etc) and create communication plan for most impactful channels
  • Execute and administer comprehensive communication strategy including establishing branding/messaging and promoting CP culture and a positive awareness both internally and externally
  • Manage social media strategy for continuous growth, through social media campaigns, content-partnerships, and in-house creative content
  • Proactively prepare and present evaluations of media content opportunities, content trends and key updates in the rapidly evolving content space.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by keeping up to date in nonprofit industry literature and publications, attending industry events, consuming the news and being active on social media
  • Compose material for the intranet, e-newsletters and various internal communications pieces

Qualifications:
We are looking for young professionals with at least two years of work experience in a marketing role. Non-profit volunteering involvement is beneficial but not required. Our core recruitment areas include corporate strategy, investment banking, management consulting, and private equity. We welcome individuals seeking to broaden and supplement their work experience with not-for-profit exposure.
  • Demonstrated capacity for successfully developing and executing a marketing strategy
  • Experience in developing content strategies and content calendars
  • Experience working in advertising a plus (particularly online channels)
  • Proven creative capability and ability to evaluate work in progress and apply strong qualitative analysis to ensure effective messaging & branding, digital production experience an asset
  • Self-starter, self - directed, individual who works well in a remote setting • Drives change and innovative problem solver • Effectively recognizes important information and is able to escalate high-risk issues to others clearly and in a timely fashion
  • Bachelor degree in Business or MBA with marketing focus
  • 2 years+ of work experience in marketing either in for-profit or non-profit sector

Director of Projects

The Director of Project will ensure the delivery of our ongoing pro-bono consulting projects. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside our two Associate Director of Projects  to ensure end-to-end project delivery including drafting of statements of work, creating work-plan and ensuring all client touch-points and deliverables are met, presenting final deliverable to the client leads / board of directors
  • Working alongside the Director of Volunteers to ensure that all consulting team members are balanced in terms of skillsets and backgrounds to successfully deliver on our consulting engagements
  • Being the primary contact for all Project Managers and working in partnership with them to ensure Collaboration Partners brand standards are followed by the consulting teams
  • Serving as the escalation point for the clients, ensuring that any client concerns / issues or delays are brought up to the Collaboration Partners Executive Team and Board of Directors
  • Serving as the escalation point for consulting team members and project managers in the event any unexpected issues arise within the consulting team
  • Actively monitoring the quality of the consulting deliverables in conjunction with the Project Manager
  • Responsible for all client relationship management ensuring that a positive experience, collecting client feedback for mid-point, end of project and after project follow up within 6 months
  • Attending final project presentation as representative of Collaboration Partners
  • Responsible to collect and upload all final deliverables to knowledge database. Serve as point of contact for consulting team guiding them to helpful resources
  • Ensuring continued contact with clients who may want to engage in repeat engagements
  • Responsible for creation of case studies for each project completed ensuring that client results and satisfaction are highlighted. Ensuring case studies are posted to the website
 
Qualifications:
We are looking for young professionals with at least two to three years of work experience in a management consulting role. Non-profit volunteering involvement is beneficial but not required. Our core recruitment areas include corporate strategy, investment banking, management consulting, and private equity. We welcome individuals seeking to broaden and supplement their work experience with not-for-profit exposure.
  • Undergraduate / MBA degree in business
  • 2 + years of relevant experience in a management consulting environment (strategy focus preferred)
  • Demonstrated capacity to executive a consulting engagement; significant experience executing consulting engagements
  • Experience working with clients and managing client relationships
  • Experience working as a member of a consulting team either as a project manager or consulting team member, understanding the consulting lifecycle
  • Maintain a proactive and positive attitude, and be willing to assist the rest of the executive team on various business matters
  • Self - starter, self - directed, individual who works well in a remote setting. Be comfortable working on a start-up environment helping to further a small organization’s mission.  

CONSULTING PROJECTS

We are currently recruiting for our consulting projects for Winter 2020!  Please submit your application as soon as possible as we have a rolling process. Due to the volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.

You will gain first-hand consulting experience at Collaboration Partners by working on not-for-profit client projects.Consulting team members will work alongside other experienced industry volunteers to address client needs.From identifying issues and researching solutions to presenting to senior management teams and working side by side with clients to implement team recommendations, you  will be expected to be highly engaged on the case work from the start..
Examples of potential client engagements include:
  • Developing a strategy to increase campaign donation funds from door-to-door marketing;
  • Identifying and evaluating alternative forms of funding to supplement current operationalbudget; and,
  • Assessing potential demographic markets for a client’s services.

ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities
Engagement Managers are responsible for the following:
  • Participating in orientation, mid-term and final review sessions, 
  • Leading a team of 3-4 volunteer consultants, facilitating the team progress, ensuring timelines and  client deliverables are met.
  • Actively contribute to the success of the project by leading development of a statement of work based on team consultations with the Associate Director of Projects, your nonprofit client and project advisor
  • Working with the team to research, collect, analyze and synthesize data
  • Leading the development of strategic options and recommendations 
  • Making presentations to your client and the Executive Team (as necessary)
  • Updating the Associate Director of Projects regularly on the consulting team's progress and raising any necessary concerns
  • Sharing your experiences and feedback with the Director of Volunteers
Responsibilities:
Consultants are responsible for the following:
  • Participating in orientation, mid-term and final review sessions
  • Working collaboratively in a consulting team 
  • Developing a statement of work based on team consultations with your nonprofit client and project advisor
  • Researching, collecting, analyzing and synthesizing data
  • Developing strategic options and recommendations
  • Making presentations to your client, and members of the Executive Team (as needed) 
  • Sharing your experiences and feedback with our Director of Volunteers

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of relevant work experience  (strategy, management consulting strongly preferred)
  • Experience in consulting projects or other analytical projects and experience in project management
  • Experience working with clients and managing client relationships
  • Experience creating compelling Powerpoint presentations  and reports to synthesize client recommendations
  • Demonstrated leadership in a professional or volunteer environment; experience leading teams 
  • Maintain a proactive and positive attitude, and be willing to assist the rest of the executive team on various business matters
  • Self - starter, self - directed, individual who works well in a remote setting. Be comfortable working on a start-up environment helping to further a small organization’s mission.
